Also all DOE schools will reopen tomorrow (Friday). Yes, all government schools will be in session.
And I call out to all Cabinet members that there will be a meeting at the Office of the Governor tomorrow (Friday) at 9am.
I would like to thank all of the people of American Samoa for your patience and prayers as well as your support in the government’s preparation for Hurricane Evan. When it comes to emergencies and extreme weather conditions, you can never over prepare.
And I wish to thank American Samoa Department of Homeland Security Director Tuala Mike Sala, Alternate GAR Palaita Pogia Tusi Suiaunoa and all the heads of departments, agencies and offices and their hardworking staff for the high level of readiness that was displayed in our emergency preparation. Thank you for your dedication and commitment.
As we return to our daily lives, let us remember with love, our brothers and sisters across the waters, and the major damage that was caused in Samoa, and also the loss of lives there. May God work through all of His people in giving aid and assistance wherever necessary to assist Samoa.
We thank God for our lives. We thank God for all His goodness. God bless American Samoa.
